When a person is physically healthy, his body functions normally and he does not get sick easily, he is flexible, strong, has energy and stamina; but if he does get sick, he is able to recover quickly from illness, especially from diseases such as the common cold.

Physical wellness entails:

-understanding the anatomy of the human body and how it functions.

-awareness of the negative impact stress and poor choices have on the body.

-making informed choices about how to achieve physical health.

     -competence at physical activities.

     -practising healthy eating habits.
